Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Gina Tiare Butson, Senior Solicitor, give notice that on or about 28 June 2016 the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Nathan Guy, Minister for Primary Industries, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 163 of that Act, for Crown Irrigation Investments Limited to indemnify the Crown against liabilities and claims, under or in connection with contracts to provide funding to irrigation schemes that were entered into by the Ministry for Primary Industries and transferred to Crown Irrigation Investments Limited, that arise from the date of transfer.
