Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Jeremy Salmond, Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 4 March 2016 the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Dr Nick Smith, Minister for Building and Housing, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 163 of that Act, for Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited, Tāmaki Regeneration Limited and Tāmaki Housing Association Limited Partnership to give indemnities contained in the following documents:

• Deed of transfer between Housing New Zealand Corporation, Housing New Zealand Limited, Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited, Tāmaki Regeneration Limited and Tāmaki Housing Association Limited Partnership;
• Deeds of licence of use of intellectual property between Tāmaki Regeneration Limited, Housing New Zealand Corporation and each of the counterparties set out in Schedule 16 of the deed of transfer; and
• Deed of variation and partial novation between Housing New Zealand Corporation, Tāmaki Housing Association Limited Partnership and a third party.
