Pursuant to sections 10 and 5B of the District Courts Act 1947, and section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Paul Gerald Mabey, Queen’s Counsel of Tauranga

to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand and to conduct jury trials for a period commencing on 28 April 2016 and expiring on 25 October 2018.
