Notice of Appointment of Liquidator

Pursuant to Section 255(2)(b) of the Companies Act 1993

Notice is hereby given that on 1 November 2016, the shareholders of GENERAL MERCANTILE & AGENCY LIMITED resolved by special resolution to appoint Kevin John Whitley as liquidator of the company in accordance with section 241(2)(a) of the Companies Act 1993 (“Act”), to undertake a liquidation of the company.

Pursuant to sections 241(1)(a) and 241(5) of the Act, the liquidation commenced on 1 November 2016 at 8.35am.

Unless requested by a creditor, it is not intended to hold a creditors’ meeting as distributions are likely to be insignificant and the director is unaware of any third party creditors.
