Under the Land Act 1948, the Director, Conservation Partnerships, Central North Island Region, Department of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister for Land Information, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule as a reserve and, under the Reserves Act 1977, declares the land to be classified as a scenic reserve for the purpose specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Reserves Act 1977.
