Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Partnerships Manager, Wellington Office, Lower North Island Region, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the appointment of the Wellington Regional Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule, and appoints the Kapiti Coast District Council to control and manage the reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.

The appointment is subject to a special condition that the Minister is able to recover any local or regional rates from Kapiti Coast District Council should such rates be levied.
