Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purposes for which the Māori reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto was created by a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 December 1992, No. 197, page 4392, and redefined in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 January 2012, No. 7, page 211, is hereby redefined for the purpose of a papakāinga, urupā, marae, church site, timber reserve, kōhanga reo, meeting place, place of cultural historical or scenic interest, education centre, catchment area or other source of water supply, wāhi tapu, pā site, fishing ground, health clinic, Kaumātua flats, conservation purpose, sports and recreational ground, horticultural centre and cultural centre for the common use and benefit of the owners and their descendants and ngā uri o Ngati Hari – Maniapoto Iwi and Ngati Hinemihi – Tūwharetoa Iwi.
