Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the General Manager, Property, Auckland Council, reclassifies the reserve in the Schedule from a local purpose (esplanade) reserve to a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.
