Food Standard: Emergency Food Standard for Imported Frozen Berry Fruits (Notice No. MPI 580)
Pursuant to section 11M of the Food Act 1981, notice is given that the Food Standard: Emergency Food Standard for Imported Frozen Berry Fruits was issued by the Director-General of the Ministry for Primary Industries on 2 December 2015.
In respect of those persons who received notice of this emergency food standard, pursuant to section 11M(3)(e) of the Food Act 1981, the standard comes into force upon service of the notification.
In all other cases, this emergency food standard will come into force upon notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
The Food Standard: Emergency Food Standard for Imported Frozen Berry Fruits provides for the introducing of a sampling regime for imported frozen berries.
It will remain in force until 29 February 2016 unless revoked sooner.
