Pursuant to section 8(1) of the Research, Science, and Technology Act 2010, I hereby amend the notice Criteria for Proposals for Partnerships Funding, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 March 2012, No. 33, page 1006, by:

Adding the following text to the end of Clause 3.1:

“During the course of a review of the Partnership funding tool allocation of funding will be paused pending the conclusion of said review. Funding will only be available to Partnerships or Research Consortia with Ministry funding agreements due to conclude between the date of announcement and 1 July 2016. Additional funding may be granted as an extension of an existing contract by up to one year from the date they are currently due to conclude.”

Deleting Clause 6.6 and substituting the following:

“6.6 Funding may be awarded for a maximum of eight years and must provide for a mid-term review.”
