Important Notes Relating to Allocation Tables:

  1. The 2016 quota year for the United States, the European Union and Dominican Republic is from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016. The 2016 quota year for prepared edible fat to Japan is from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017.
  2. NSPF cheese is cows’ milk cheese not specifically provided for elsewhere in the schedule of the United States tariff rate quotas for cheese.
  3. All quantities listed are in kilograms. Some quantities listed have been rounded to the nearest kilogram.
  4. Quota licences are subject to the European Union requirements limiting total butter quota volume in sub-period one of the 2016 quota year for butter. No more than 50 per cent of the total quantity for the year may be used in sub-period one (from 1 January to 30 June). However, any quantity not used in sub-period one may be used in sub-period two (1 July to 31 December).
