Pursuant to section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 and section 8(1) of the Health Research Council Act 1990, the Minister of Health has appointed

Professor Jeroen Douwes

as a member of the Health Research Council, for a three-year term of office commencing on 28 August 2015.
