Pursuant to Regulation 5 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999 (“PECPR Regulations”), I, Richard Steel, in exercise of those powers delegated to me by WorkSafe New Zealand, hereby give notice of the cancellation of an exemption from the PECPR Regulations, granted to controllers of timber treatment vessels, from those duties in Regulation 10 requiring equipment to have a certificate of inspection.

The exemption subject to this cancellation was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 December 2005, No. 210, page 5376.

The effective date of this cancellation is the date of publication of this New Zealand Gazette notice.
