Radiocommunications Regulations (General User Radio Licence for Aircraft Cellular Telecommunications Purposes) Notice (No. 2) 2011 Revocation Notice

This notice is issued pursuant to Regulation 15 of the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001, made under section 116(1)(b) of the Radiocommunications Act 1989, and revokes the general user radio licence granted for the transmission of radio waves for the purpose of facilitating cellular telecommunications on-board aircraft.

The Radiocommunications Regulations (General User Radio Licence for Aircraft Cellular Telecommunication Purposes) Notice (No. 2) 2011 is revoked.

This notice of revocation takes effect on 27 March 2015.

This notice revokes the general user radio licence which facilitated cellular telecommunications on-board aircraft, as the operation of this equipment on New Zealand aircraft has now ceased.
