Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Deborah Ann Marshall, Chief Coroner of Auckland

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, commencing on 27 March 2015.
