Pursuant to section 8(1) of the Industry Training and Apprenticeships Act 1992 (“the Act”), the Infrastructure Industry Training Organisation is granted provisional recognition from 16 October 2015 to 16 October 2016 as an industry training organisation for the following industries:

• the management of power systems and assets, design, construction, operation; and
• the maintenance of the production, transmission and utilisation of the electrical energy industry.

The provisional recognition takes effect from 16 October 2015.

In order to receive recognition pursuant to section 5(1) of the Act, the Infrastructure Industry Training Organisation must participate in an External Evaluation and Review to be undertaken by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and demonstrate a satisfactory level of organisational performance by 30 June 2016.
