Naming of Reserves—Queenstown Lakes District

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby gives notice that resolutions to the following effect were passed by the council on the following dates:

9 July 2013

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 2, DP 450206, Cardrona, shall henceforth be known as Waiorau Recreation Reserve”.

20 August 2013

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 107, DP 387169, Bevan Place, Wanaka shall henceforth be known as Laurie Cleugh Park”.

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 2, DP 25900 & Section 25 Blk XII TN, Bullock Creek, Wanaka shall henceforth be known as West Path”.

1 October 2013

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 105, DP 413111, Sherwin Avenue, Albert Town shall henceforth be known as Riverside Wetland Reserve”.

25 September 2014

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 167, Blk 1 Shotover SD, Riverside Road, Frankton shall henceforth be known as Ivan Young Zoological Reserve”.

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the walk/cycle track vested in the council and described as Gorge Road Track, Queenstown shall henceforth be known as the Sutherland Track”.

“That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 13, DP 364700, Maori Jack Road, Jacks Point shall henceforth be known as Jack Tewa Park”.
