Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae, for the common use and benefit of the members if Ngatitoro hapu of Ngapuhi, to be included in the existing Maori reservation known as the Mataitaua Marae Maori Reservation over the Maori freehold land known as Utakura No. 2D No. 8A No. 3A, being all that land described in Computer Freehold Register 474042, North Auckland Land Registry, and, was by notice in the New Zealand Gazette,
28 January 1999, No. 8, page 217, set aside for the purpose of a marae to be known as Mataitaua Marae for the common use and benefit of the members of Ngatitoro hapu of Ngapuhi.
