Notice of Altered Geographic Name for Ngati Rangiwewehi Treaty of Waitangi Settlement 2014

Pursuant to sections 48 to 49 of the Ngati Rangiwewehi Claims Settlement Act 2014 ("Settlement Act 2014"), the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("Board") hereby gives notice of one altered geographic name.
The Schedule below specifies the details of the altered geographic name; its geographic feature type; its description; and its former name.
The official geographic name took effect on 20 May 2014, being the date that the Settlement Act 2014 came into effect.
Pursuant to section 50 of the Settlement Act 2014, the Board may in the future agree to alter the official geographic name, as listed in the Schedule below, with the consent of the trustees of the Te Tahuhu o Tawakeheimoa Trust.
