Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements as set out in section 24 of the Act shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land in the Schedule, to Genesis Energy Limited.
This being due to the land in the Schedule being used in connection with electricity works associated with the Piripaua Power Station.
