Under section 16(2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, the
New Plymouth District Council, pursuant to a resolution dated the 24th day of May 2011, classifies the reserve primarily for the purpose of a public plantation and pleasure ground and secondly for the purpose of a recreation ground described in the Schedule for recreation reserve purposes to form part of Waiwhakaiho Park.
