Under the Resource Management Act 1991, the Conservation Partnership Manager for the Marlborough District of the Department of Conservation declares that the local purpose esplanade reserves described in the Schedule shall cease to be vested in and administered by the Marlborough District Council and shall vest in the Crown and be classified as local purpose reserve for sounds foreshore purposes, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.
