On 9 April 2013, the Minister of Energy and Resources declared that permits for metallic minerals would not be granted, or extended, in relation to the land specified in the attached schedule in accordance with paragraph 3.9 of the Minerals Programme for Minerals (Excluding Petroleum) 2008 made pursuant to section 18(1) of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.
The declaration included an exception for applications made in accordance with the Northland 2012 Competitive Tender public tender process. Permits for metallic minerals were able to be granted as a result of that public tender process.
Pursuant to paragraph 3.9 of the Minerals Programme for Minerals (Excluding Petroleum) 2008 and section 15 of the Interpretation Act 1999, the Minister of Energy and Resources declares that the declaration in relation to the land specified in the attached schedule is hereby revoked.
This declaration has effect on and from 9 May 2014.
