Under section 7(1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Director, Conservation Partnerships - South and Eastern South Island Region of the Department of Conservation, declares that the land described in the First Schedule is held for conservation purposes and, under section 8(1A) of that Act, further declares that the land described in the Second Schedule be set apart as reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and further, that the land described in the Third Schedule be classified as scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
