Notice of Final Determinations to Assign Official Geographic Names

Pursuant to sections 19 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the
New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("Board") hereby gives notice of the final determinations to assign new geographic names.
The new official geographic names are specified in the first column of the Schedule below ("Schedule").
The geographic feature types that the new official geographic names relate to are set out in the second column of the Schedule below.
The descriptions of the new official geographic names are set out in the third column of the Schedule below.
The Board's final determinations on these new official geographic names takes effect on 6 March 2014.

Hohi Historic site The traditional Maori name for the historic locality of the first mission station, located within the Marsden Cross Historic Reserve, at Rangihoua Bay, Bay of Islands. NZTopo50 AV29-Russell, NZTM 1699850E, 6107700N. Assigning a new name for an unnamed feature.
Otago Land District
Norman Creek Creek A small creek flowing generally north-easterly for approximately 2.5km into Lake Wanaka, opposite Ruby Island. NZTopo50 CB12-Cardrona, GR 882 438 to GR 900 449. Assigning a new name for an unnamed feature.
