to be Acting District Court Judges, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand and to exercise
the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, at such place
or places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of two years commencing on 1 March 2014; and
Heather McGregor Simpson, CNZM
Carolyn Henwood; each a retired District Court Judge
to be Acting District Court Judges, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of two years commencing on 1 March 2014; and
Jeremy Philip Gittos, retired District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil
and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand and to exercise
the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, at such place
or places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, for a term commencing on
1 March 2014 and expiring on 14 August 2014; and
Geoffrey Fraser Ellis
Paul Whitehead; each a retired District Court Judge
to be Acting District Court Judges, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of two years commencing on 1 March 2014; and
Dale Fleur Clarkson, retired District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of two years commencing on 20 February 2014; and
John James Dashwood Strettell, retiring District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of two years commencing on 1 July 2014; and
Alexander James Twaddle, retired District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of two years commencing on 11 February 2014; and
Brian Hamish Struthers Neal, retired District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of two years commencing on 16 February 2014; and
John David Hole, retired District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, for a term commencing on
9 February 2014 and expiring on 16 October 2014.
