Pursuant to sections 10 and 5B of the District Courts
Act 1947, and section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, has been pleased to appoint
Alisdair Simon Menzies, barrister and solicitor of Hamilton
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to conduct jury trials for a period of two years commencing on
1 August 2014.
