Pursuant to section 23(3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed the Manawatu District Council to have the control and management of the Rongotea Cemetery, being 1.9879 hectares, more or less, being Lot 20A DP 514 and being the land contained in Identifier WN45/62 in the land registration district of Wellington, as from the date of signing.
