Further to a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette,
6 March 2014, No. 27, page 787, and pursuant to section 87J(6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 28, 29
and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 29 October 2013, and a
sub-delegation from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Transport dated 3 November 2013, I give notice that having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for:
- capacity, on a non-stop basis, to Narita Airport to be as filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport; and
- an increase in the airline's capacity entitlement to Vanuatu to three return services per week.
The variation took effect from 8 April 2014.
