Pursuant to section 6(1) of the Contraception, Sterilisation, and Abortion Act 1977, I, Tony Ryall, hereby approve the International Standard "ISO 7439:2011 - Copper-bearing Contraceptive Intrauterine Devices - Requirements and tests" for the purpose of manufacturing for sale or selling copper-bearing contraceptive intrauterine devices.
The approval shall take effect from 1 May 2014.
