Under sections 159AA and 159AC of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment gives notice as follows.

1. This notice may be cited as the Tertiary Education Strategy 2014-2019 notice.
Tertiary Education Strategy 2014-2019
2. Under section 159AA of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment has issued the Tertiary Education Strategy 2014-2019. The Strategy sets out the Government's long-term strategic direction for tertiary education, together with its current and medium-term priorities.
3. Under section 159AC of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment has revoked the Tertiary Education Strategy 2010-2015* and replaced it with the new Tertiary Education Strategy 2014-2019.
4. The Tertiary Education Strategy 2014-2019 can be viewed and downloaded from the Ministry of Education website at
www.minedu.govt.nz/tes2014
