Pursuant to section 68(2)(b) of the Legal Services Act 2011, the Secretary for Justice gives notice that the Family Legal Advice Service will commence from 31 March 2014.
The Family Legal Advice Service is a "specified legal service" as that expression is defined in section 4 of the Legal Services Act 2011, and to which subpart 2 of Part 3 of the Act applies.
The purpose of the Family Legal Advice Service is to provide eligible parents and guardians with legal advice in the early stages of care of children or guardianship disputes under the Care of Children Act 2004.
