Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Adam Wood, Acting Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 7 February 2014, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and The Honourable Hekia Parata, Minister of Education, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, for Westlake Boys' High School Board of Trustees ("the Board") to borrow up to $2.0 million from ASB Bank Limited for a term of up to 10 years, allowing the Board to exceed the 10% threshold on borrowing specified in Regulation 12(1) of the Crown Entities (Financial Powers) Regulations 2005.
