Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“HSNO Act”), WorkSafe New Zealand gives notice that New Zealand Defence Forces intends to apply for approval of the code of practice

HSNOCOP 66 Compressed Gas Cylinder to DOT-SP 12098.

The purpose of this code of practice is to provide a means of compliance with the requirements of Regulation 10(c) of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004.

It nominates a standard for the design and construction of seamless steel compressed gas cylinders for use in a re-breather unit.
