Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the NZ Transport Agency gives notice that, with effect from 1 December 2014:

  1. Part of State Highway 2, described in the First Schedule, is revoked; and
  2. The section of new road described in the Second Schedule is declared to be State Highway 2.

First Schedule

Part of State Highway 2, commencing at the Martin Road intersection at RP 788/7.83 and extending in a generally easterly direction to finish at RP 788/9.35. The length of road to be revoked is 1.52 kilometres.

Second Schedule

Part of State Highway 2, commencing 50 metres north of the intersection with Ball Road at RP 788/7.13 and following a generally westerly direction to finish at RP 788/9.66. The length of road to be declared is 2.534 kilometres.
