I, Simon Bridges, Minister of Labour, give notice that I have approved an amendment to the Approved Code of Practice for Safety and Health in Forest Operations (the Approved Code of Practice), pursuant to section 20A of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
This amendment adds a supplement to the Approved Code of Practice entitled "Roles and Responsibilities of Principals and Contractors".
The amendment sets out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the health and safety practices for forestry principals, contractors and workers in the forestry industry.
