1. Pursuant to section 38(3)(b) of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, and having complied with section 39 of
that Act, the Electricity Authority gives notice of making the Electricity Industry Participation Code Amendment (Distributed Generation) 2014 ("Amendment").
2. The Amendment comes into force on 23 February 2015.
3. The Amendment provides a new process for connecting small-scale distributed generation under Part 6 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 ("Code"), and makes a number of other changes to improve the operation and clarity of Part 6. It also makes consequential changes to other parts of the Code.
