Pursuant to subclause 4.6(1) of Land Transport Rule:
Light-vehicle Brakes 2002 ("the first Rule"), and subclause 10.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Heavy-vehicle Brakes 2006 ("the second Rule"), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the New Zealand Transport Agency, I, Stephen Arthur Bull“t, Senior Engineer, Technical Support, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule
of this notice for the purpose of measuring brake forces of vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements for both light-vehicle and heavy-vehicle brakes contained in
the Rules.
