Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training and Apprenticeships Act 1992, full recognition of the Funeral Service Training Trust of New Zealand as an industry training organisation has been granted for a further period of five years, with effect from 24 June 2014, to set standards at Levels 1-7 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the funeral industry (defined as funeral directing and embalming).
