Pursuant to sections 4(1) and 8(1) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Southern Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2003 Amendment No. 2 and shall be read with and deemed part of the notice constituting the Southern Rural Fire District Notice 2003 made on 10 July 2003* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
(2) This notice will come into force on 1 July 2016.
2. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice-(1) The principal notice* is hereby amended by deleting the Schedule and inserting a new Schedule as follows:

Land Included in the Rural Fire District
(1) All those parcels shown on SO 11471 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Southland, labelled "Invercargill City"; all those parcels shown on
LG-073-2013-W-1 lodged in the Office of the Local Government Commission Wellington labelled "Southland District"; all those parcels shown on
LG-074-2013-W-1 lodged in the Office of the Local Government Commission Wellington labelled "Gore District".
Land Excluded from the Rural Fire District
(2) Excluded from the Southern Rural Fire District are all "fire districts" as defined in section 2 of the Fire Service Act 1975.
