Pursuant to sections 78 and 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act"), the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) advises that it approved on 27 March 2014, the Code of Practice HSNOCOP 6 Version 2.1 Flammable Liquids Tank Wagons.
This code of practice has been developed by the EPA and provides a means of compliance with Regulations 3-29,
32-37 and 42 of the Hazardous Substances (Tank Wagons and Transportable Containers) Regulations 2004 for the use of tank wagons for bulk transport of flammable liquids.
Pursuant to section 80(1) of the HSNO Act, this code may be inspected on request at the EPA, Level 10, Grant Thornton House, 215 Lambton Quay, Wellington 6011.
