Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of the Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purposes for which the Maori reservation in respect
of the land described in the Schedule hereto was created by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 October 1975, No. 90, page 2344, and redefined by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 May 1978, No. 42, page 1465, are hereby redefined for the purpose of a marae site, recreation or sports ground, and Kaumatua housing for the common use and benefit of the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit the said Maori reservation was made to be the Maori people of New Zealand.
