Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Napier City Council resolved on 18 September 2013, that, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, the Napier City Council changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (wildlife) reserve to a local purpose (community buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.
