Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Partnerships Manager North Canterbury/Christchurch, Department of Conservation, authorises the exchange of the local purpose reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule and subsequently classifies the land described in Second Schedule as scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act.
