Under the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservation Partnerships Manager for the Taranaki Office of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a), and declares that the reserve is united with the Rotokare Scenic Reserve and administered by the South Taranaki District Council.
