Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Director Conservation Partnerships for the South and Eastern
South Island Region of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (gravel) reserve to a scenic reserve for the purpose specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act.
