Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga City Council (formerly the Mount Maunganui Borough Council) resolved on 30 July 2013, that, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, Tauranga City Council changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (information centre
and accessway) reserve to recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the Act.
