Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Earnshaw, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 52(1)(d), declares that the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 2 and remains vested in Her Majesty The Queen.
(b) Pursuant to section 52(1)(d), declares that the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby
set apart for railway purposes, subject to the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, Easement Instrument 7986965.1 and Certificate 8350712.1, pursuant to section 115(2) of the Port Nicholson Block (Taranaki Whanui ki To Upoko o Te Ika) Claims Settlement Act 2009, together with the rights contained in Transfer 262383.7 and Transfer B602503.1, and remains vested in Her Majesty The Queen.
