Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Support Manager for the Nelson Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of
the reserve, described in the Schedule, from a local purpose reserve (site for a youth hostel) to a local purpose reserve (hostel site) subject to the provisions of the Act.
