Pursuant to section 338(5) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the beneficiaries of the Maori reservation set apart by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 October 1994, No. 108, page 3153, over Maori Reserve 886 Onuku 2A Block be redefined from "Nga Tangata o Onuku Marae me Nga Tangata o Ngai Tahu Whanui me Nga Hau E Wha" to "the members of Onuku Runanga Incorporated Society".
